Our Fathers stayed initially in a rented house. Then the long awaited dream of having a novitiate of our own was fulfilled when a rented house in Jharsuguda was inaugurated and blessed as a Novitiate on June 14, 2004 by Very Rev. Fr. Arogyadas Kottana, then the Regional Superior of Khrist Jyoti Region, Raipur and Rt. Rev. Lukas Kerketta, the Bishop of Sambalpur respectively with the accompaniment of ‘showers of blessing’ throughout the day. However, after two years when the new house was ready Rt. Rev. Lucas Kerketta, the Bishop of Sambalpur, blessed the house and Rev. Fr. Shanti Prakash Panna, the Vice Regional inaugurated the same in the presence of Rt. Rev. John Barwa, the Co-adjutor Bishop of Rourkela, Chairman of municipality of Jharsuguda and other religious, priests and laity.

This is a Novitiate House. Fr. Santosh Bara (Novice Master) and Fr. John Konrad Barla (Bursar & Teacher) are at present forming and guiding the students there. The place is situated 6 kilometer away from Jharsuguda town.
